Blade is found in a hidden chamber, all chained up, past the second checkpoint in Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals never shies away when it comes to Easter eggs and teases of the game’s future, and nothing reflects this better than the game’s new Central Park map. This new map has risen up the fan-favorite rank fast, largely due to its solid level design, but also due to the various secrets and lore scattered across the map.
One of the biggest secrets on this map gives us a look at a brand new character: Blade. Information on Blade was leaked a few months ago, and we do have a fair idea of what his kit is going to be like. Still, this is our first official look at the character in the game. If you haven’t found Blade on the new map yet, we’re here to help you reach him. In this guide, we shall go over where to find Blade in Marvel Rivals.
How To Find Blade in Marvel Rivals
You find Blade in a not-so-hidden location in the new Central Park map of Marvel Rivals. Firstly, you need to be part of the attacking team. Play through the first section of the match as intended. You need to pass through this section and go past the second checkpoint to find Blade. Once you’re in the second phase, you will have to die, and you will then respawn in a giant prison-like room with a man caged and chained at the center. Approach this mysterious chained man, and you will see that it is Blade himself.
If you’re excellent at the game and struggling to die during the match, there is an alternate way to reach this character. Once you’re at the second checkpoint, take a left and approach the new spawn area. You’ll see a fog door in this area, so explore till you find it. Approach the door and follow the button prompt to pass through and enter Blade’s prison chamber.
Why Blade is in captivity is beyond us. The character seems to be making his debut at the most appropriate time, as the heroes in Marvel Rivals deal with the threat of Dracula. Count Vlad Dracula has been built up as the main antagonist of this season and aims to drag the city of New York into eternal darkness. We don’t know how Blade will factor into this storyline, but there’s nobody better to deal with Dracula than the infamous Vampire Hunter himself.
