Kick streamer Adin Ross recently purchased the $MLG and $Trump cryptocurrencies and he wants to hold them long-term.
FaZe Clan CEO Richard “Banks” Bengston appeared on Kick streamer Adin Ross’ stream on February 3, 2025. The two discussed cryptocurrencies and promoted US President Donald Trump’s cryptocurrency $Trump on stream along with the gaming cryptocurrency $MLG.
The FaZe Clan CEO discussed the future of cryptocurrency with Ross and shared some ideas. Adin Ross said that he wants to launch a Grand Theft Auto 6 roleplay server with cryptocurrency support.
The $Trump coin is named after Donald Trump’s surname, and the US President launched it right before his second presidential term. However, Activision-Blizzard subsidiary Major League Gaming (MLG) is not associated with $MLG. FaZe Banks promoted $MLG on January 9, 2025, and said it is the best entry to cryptocurrency for gamers.
What Are the $MLG and $Trump Cryptocurrencies?
Adin Ross purchased $Trump and $MLG coins and promoted them on his livestream. Ross is a Donald Trump supporter, and he participated in promotions during his voting campaign in 2024. Trump launched $Trump on January 17, 2025.
$Trump launched at $7 per coin and climbed to $74 per coin in two days. Since then, the prices have crashed to $17 as of February 4, 2025, leaving investors concerned. The other cryptocurrency Adin Ross purchased was $MLG. FaZe Banks made multiple posts on January 9, 2025, explaining how it is the “perfect entry” for investing in cryptocurrency:
“I’m not paid, I do not know the team, I don’t have any sort of additional… There’s nothing behind the scenes that I know that you guys do not know. I don’t have any sort of additional advantage to this. I fully found this on the timeline… The biggest thing above all else is every single dollar you invest into anything for the rest of your lives, whether its crypto, anything else, you should always consider it zero.”
There are concerns surrounding $MLG as Frank DeGods is associated with the coin. Frank DeGods is the pseudonym of Rohun Vora, a former film student turned cryptocurrency investor. There are multiple reports against DeGods accusing him of scams in the crypto world.
Adin Ross Wants To Bring Cryptocurrencies to GTA 6
Banks and Adin Ross want to launch their cryptocurrency project within Grand Theft Auto 6. Ross told his audience their roleplay (RP) server will be the “biggest thing ever” in the game:
“When GTA 6 drops, me and Rick here are going to make the biggest server together. We’re going to do the best sh*t ever, and I promise you it’s going to be completely crypto, everything pro-crypto about it.”
Ross pointed out how GTA developer Rockstar Games bought FiveM, the team behind the most popular RP mods in GTA 5 that went viral on Twitch. He expects FiveM to add RP support natively to the game in GTA 6 to cash in on the popularity of roleplaying:
“It’s going to change the game because of GTA 6, I promise you guys, they already bought FiveM, it’s going to be all RP. I’ll have the best and the biggest server. I promise you, I will, and we’re going to put a lot of money into it.”
Many internet users shared their excitement for the upcoming project. Meanwhile, others are concerned about Ross promoting cryptocurrencies as it could lead to legal troubles with Rockstar Games.
