Perrikaryal is a well-known Twitch streamer who became popular because of her unique gaming style which involves mind control.

Perrikaryal, a Twitch streamer, recently revealed that she had successfully defeated a boss in Elden Ring Nightreign, the network test for FromSoftware’s upcoming standalone cooperative spinoff game. Moreover, the streamer had previously described how the game’s characters are controlled by tracking brain activity. She has 60K followers on her Twitch channel.
Certain electrodes that are affixed to her head enable this “mind control” method. Her brain activity varies in a noticeable way when she imagines specific things or actions or even when she experiences emotions. This can be utilized to program and link specific in-game behaviors.
The streamer wrote on X and shared her experience:
“I GOT TO TRY ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN with MIND CONTROL!! It was so much fun and such a challenge because this game DOES NOT let up! I’m so excited for the final release.”

Perrikaryal Shares Her Experience With Mind-Controlled Gaming
Although Elden Ring Nightreign isn’t expected to be released until May 2025, the game has been going through network testing lately. To test the game’s online functionality and performance, a limited number of players were allowed to play specific sections of the game.
Moreover, Perrikaryal has described how her unique brain activity is connected to specific buttons. This allows her to control certain actions in-game. Additionally, she demonstrated in a different post on X how imagining herself shifting things forward, spinning a plate, visualizing a cricket, and “pulsing” her ears alters her brain activity as measured by an EEG (electroencephalogram) instrument.
Perrikaryal also envisioned other activities that she could link to in-game commands. This involves such as pushing a boulder, picturing a grasshopper jumping, and getting angry. She wrote on X after trying Super Smash Bros through mind control:
“I’ve never done this before… an entire game with ONLY mind control. Super Smash Bros without any other peripheral tech (no eyetracking or gyro for movement). Absolutely mental; I never thought we’d get here. Thank you for all the support!”
