Squeex is a Twitch streamer who is known for his speed-running content. He primarily plays Super Mario 64 on Twitch with over 3,500 hours in the game. His channel grew in popularity after he interacted with One True King (OTK) members, most notably Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo.

After he made frequent appearances on Emily “ExtraEmily” Zhang and Nick “Nmplol” Polom’s streams in 2023, viewers speculated that he would join OTK. However, the organization did not sign him as a member.

Squeex has over 230,000 followers with an average viewership of over 4,700. He also has a YouTube channel with over 146,000 subscribers. His videos include gaming content, reactions, and collab activities with other content creators.

Exploring Squeex’s Rise in Popularity

Squeex did not reveal his real name to his viewers. While he called himself “Raj Patel” on stream one time, he implied that it was a joke. He started streaming in 2018 and maintained an average viewership of under 100 users. From January 2022, he slowly gained in popularity. This coincided with an increase in his streaming hours.

After he started appearing on other channels like ExtraEmily and Mizkif, his channel took off and went from averaging under 500 viewers in 2022 to almost 4,000 viewers in January 2025. Squeex tried other games as his popularity grew, but he still treats Super Mario 64 as his main game of choice.

The streamer has over 1,000 hours of Counter-Strike and has also spent time on games like Jump King, Elden Ring, Valorant, and Minecraft. His first appearance in the Streamer Awards 2023 went viral on social media, which further boosted his popularity.

His frequent appearances on OTK content fueled speculation about him joining the content organization in 2023. While the streamer still partners with OTK streamers as well as other big content creators like Ludwig Ahgren, Imane “Pokimane” Anys, and Blaire “QTCinderella,” he is still an independent content creator.

The Streamer Made Questionable Comments in 2024

Squeex has been a controversy-free streamer for most of his streaming career. However, in 2024, he made multiple questionable comments on stream that went viral. On September 23, 2024, a viewer asked him on stream:

“‘Squeex, do you think being bald is a disability?”

He responded by saying:

“What do you think the ‘B’ stands for in LGBT?”

After a few seconds, he tried to take back his statement and said:

“Wait! I’m sorry! I’m so tired! I thought that was something else! Can we restart? No, obviously, I’m pro-gay! I’m pro-LGBT! No, it’s not a disability to be gay! Obviously! What I’m trying to say is,  I f*cked up.”

In another instance, appearing on QTCinderella’s IRL broadcast, Squeex made a comment regarding Mr. Beast:

“Who are we? MrBeast? I know. I shouldn’t have. ‘Hey, guys, MrBeast here. We’re about to go for a crazy challenge. I’m going to be using no pedophiles for one video, and it’s going to get even crazier. You know, in the end, we’re going to use non-union workers. It’s about to be crazy! So, smash that like button!'”

Readers should note that private investigators Quinn Emmanuel Urquhart and Sullivan conducted an independent investigation and found no instances of misconduct on MrBeast’s set.
