Ciaccona and Zani join the Wuthering Waves roster in Version 2.3, and players can pre-farm their ascension materials.
The first anniversary and Version 2.3 of Wuthering Waves have just started on April 29, 2025. Although Zani has already joined the game, Ciaccona is still some time away from release.
For now, you can prepare by accumulating all of her ascension materials. You should only pre-farm if you are guaranteed to get her in the future, otherwise, your efforts might get wasted if you are unsuccessful in obtaining said character.

All Ciaccona Ascension Materials in Wuthering Waves
All of Ciaccona’s Ascensino Materials are already in the game. So, you can collect them and be ready for her upcoming release in the second half of Version 2.3. Here is everything you will need to ascend Ciaccona:
- LF Tidal Residuum x4
- MF Tidal Residuum x12
- HF Tidal Residuum x12
- FF Tidal Residuum x4
- Blazing Bone x46
- Golden Fleece x60
- Shell Credit x170,000
Collecting all the above materials will let you rank up Ciaccona to Rank 6, which is the maximum rank.
Where To Get Ciaccona Ascension Materials in Wuthering Waves
All four variations of Tidal Residuum can be obtained by defeating enemies in the overworld. There are many enemies that drop this material. This includes:
- Fae Ignis
- Nimbus Wraith
- Questless Knight
- Diurnus Knight
- Nocturnus Knight
- Abyssal Patricius
- Abyssal Gladius
- Abyssal Mercator
- Vitreum Dancer
Meanwhile, Blazing Bone can be obtained after defeating the Dragon of Dirge. This boss is located in the Penitent’s End region, inside the Figurehead’s Shrine. Additionally, you will also find a lot of Golden Fleece in the same region, right outside of the aforementioned Shrine.
Lastly, Shell Credits are the universal currency of Wuthering Waves, and quite easy to obtain if you log in to the game on a daily basis. You can obtain this currency through completing almost any quest in the game. Additionally, complete your daily quests for a steady stream of income.
You can also purchase various supply bundles or the battle pass to get these credits.
