The fighting ring in WWE is full of opportunities to hurt your opponent in the best possible way and take the victory. In the battle, you can use corners to your advantage by removing the turnbuckle.

The turnbuckle hides a sharp edge, which can cause devastating damage to the opponent. This guide will help you learn how to remove the buckle and expose its edge in WWE 2K25.

If you want to remove the turnbuckle in WWE 2K25, make sure to buy yourself enough time to safely progress through the animation. To remove and expose the sharp edge behind it, go into a corner you’d like and hold these buttons simultaneously:

  • On Xbox: LB and RT
  • On PC: Spacebar and U
  • On PlayStation: L1 and R2

By pressing the above button combinations, your character will initiate an animation and remove the turnbuckle. This will allow you to deal serious damage to your opponent, to the point of bursting their head open.

However, it includes a slight chance of disqualification during normal matches. For the maximum potential of this feature, events like Hell in a Cell can come in handy as they don’t have disqualification rules.

Precautions Before Removing the Turnbuckle

Removing the turnbuckle itself is not a hard task to do, but your opponent can easily take advantage of the moment while your character is in the animation. The precaution to disable the opponent is the correct choice you can make.

If your opponent’s limbs are all undamaged, they can get back up in no time. You can weaken them by using submission moves and initiating specific limb attacks to slow their movement.

Additionally, you can use weapons like a chair or table to inflict heavy damage upon them, ultimately making your opponent immobile. Once they’re down, you can easily get into the corner and remove the turnbuckle before they can recover and get back up.
