xQc is all set to perform in the Sidemen Charity Match 2025 and ready for a redemption after a dismal performance in the 2023 match.
Following his dismal performance in the Sidemen Charity Match on September 9, 2023, Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” made the solemn declaration that he will never again play football. Felix, the YouTube All-Stars XI’s goalie, experienced a nightmare game as his team lost 8–5.
Felix’s own expensive errors added to the suffering, earning him a score of a pitiful 0.3. Following the occurrence, the streamer shared his comments in his Twitch channel’s offline chat, saying:
“I legit retire from soccer, permanently.”
However, the Canadian streamer revealed that he may have suffered an injury during the pre-game warm-ups, which could have contributed to his poor performance. He said:
“Ngl this sounds like excuses, but I fell on my wrist during warmup and it flaired up my fracture again, I gotta get that sh*t fixed up asap.”
xQc Returns to Sidemen Charity Match for His “Redemption Arc”
Following his participation in the fifth edition of the Sidemen Charity Match in 2023, Félix “xQc” will return for this year’s (2025) event.
xQc’s involvement in this year’s event was announced in a video posted on X by the official Sidemen account. It also implied that xQc’s “redemption arc” following his previous performance, in which he failed to defend against eight goals in total, might take place at the 2025 Sidemen Charity Match.
The streamer made a bold claim about his performance in the match this year. Additionally, he is planning on doing a stream with a professional goalkeeper as well.
In response to Sidemen’s X post with the tagline, “Let the redemption arc begin,” on March 3, 2025, the Twitch streamer stated that he hopes to win the Sidemen Charity Match 2025 MVP award. He stated:
“MVP this year, I’m calling it.”
