Rosanna Pansino made multiple videos and posts criticizing Beast Games, alleging the show highlights how the rich abuse the poor.
YouTuber Rosanna Pansino recently compared Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast’s Beast Games reality show, to Squid Games Season 2 on X. In her post, she said that Squid Game shows how the “rich abuse the poor” for entertainment, and MrBeast was inspired to turn the fictional show into reality.
Rosanna is one of the biggest content creators on YouTube, with over 14.6 million subscribers. Her most popular cooking video has over 228 million views, and she has been creating content since 2011. In 2024, she made multiple videos and social media posts criticizing Beast Games and MrBeast’s content.
She inquired about the alleged injuries on MrBeast’s show and also criticized the food offered to contestants. Rosanna claimed that the food offered to contestants on Squid Game looks “better” than what MrBeast offers in his reality show. Rosanna has multiple posts criticizing the show as well as other MrBeast-associated products like Lunchly, Prime, and Feastables. Recently, she offered support to a YouTuber who allegedly suffered a brain injury during the Beast Games’ qualifiers.
Rosanna Pansino Criticizes MrBeast’s Reality Show
After reports of mistreatment at the Beast Games set surfaced, MrBeast responded to these allegations on X. He said his crew would publish behind-the-scenes footage to show how “blown out of proportion” the claims are.

On December 20, 2024, YouTube channel Colin and Samir posted a behind-the-scenes video highlighting the production process. Rosanna Pansino shared a clip from the video online and said:

Since the show’s release, she made multiple posts bringing up the alleged mistreatment at Beast Games. She also called the show a “cheap knockoff” of Squid Game.
Beast Games Is Facing Lawsuits From Multiple Contestants
On September 16, 2024, five unnamed contestants sued Beast Games in the Los Angeles Superior Court for mistreatment. The lawsuit includes 14 causes of action, including denial of medication, food, water, and beds during the qualifiers.

On December 20, YouTuber Amanda Rose posted a video claiming she was injured while filming Beast Games. She filed a report at the Las Vegas Police Department and released a YouTube video detailing the incident.
Rose alleged that the incident occurred during the Briefcase Challenge segment of the qualifiers. In her video, she alleged that she hurt herself in an accident but no one referred her to the medical crew on standby.
