How To Summon Minions in Path of Exile 2
In Grinding Gear Games’ action RPG Path of Exile 2, minion summoning is directly tied to a stat called ‘Spirit.’ You need Spirit to summon the minions in PoE2. Head to the ‘Skill’ tab in inventory, select summon skill, and choose the ‘Set Minion Count’ option.
You can check the Spirit cost of your various Minion types on this menu. This allows you to manage your minion army based on your total Spirit limit. You can mix between various types of minions to form an unbeatable and powerful army that can do all the fighting while protecting you. These minions are permanent (revivable) and come back when defeated after a specific cooldown.
How To Increase the Number of Summoned Minions in Path of Exile 2
There are two primary ways to increase your Spirit-based summoning count: Increasing your total Spirit stat and reducing the Spirit cost of your summons.
- Your total Spirit will be increased as you progress through your equipment and stat-boosting items. Several armor pieces have Spirit as a default stat. Your total Spirit can also be increased by defeating several bosses. Bosses with a plus sign near their icon on the map have more chances of dropping permanent stat-increasing consumables.
- On the other hand, you can lower the Spirit cost for summoning one minion by levelling up the summoning skills using Uncut skill gems. This allows you to summon more minions with the same total amount of your Spirit.
- Additionally, you can also summon some temporary minions like Unearth and Zombie, which don’t require any Spirit to summon.
- Moreover, equipment with summoning skills such as Scepter, summons minions for you without any Spirit.
