Take a look at this skin tier list for Winter Soldier in Marvel Rivals and pick only the best look for your next match.
Marvel Rivals did a fine job bringing “lore-accurate” Winter Soldier into the game. By “lore accurate,” I refer to the fact that he has his shape-shifting bionic arm from the comics and is just as dangerous as he was originally meant to be. Chances are, you will be popping that Ultimate Ability “again” when given the opportunity. So, let’s do it in style.
All Winter Soldier Skins Tier List in Marvel Rivals
The tier list today will be a comparison between the following skins:
- Default Winter Soldier
- Blood Soldier
- Navy Trooper
- Revolution
Kindly note that we don’t criticize the designers or ridicule those who use the costumes in the lower tiers. The tier only represents the writer’s subjective opinions and you may or may not agree with them.
TIERS | SKINS |
S | Revolution, Blood Soldier |
A | Default |
B | Navy Trooper |
Since skins are only part of the “cosmetics” in the game and have no added benefits, we will judge them based solely on their looks and design. It is important for Bucky Barnes to look stylish while eliminating enemies using his Ability Kit. So, if you wish to know the reasoning behind why each of these skins has been placed in a specific tier, scroll below.
S-Tier Winter Soldier Marvel Rivals Skins
Marvel Rivals’ Season 1 introduced Dracula to the game as an antagonist. To fit the grim tone of Eternal Night Falls, the developers introduced the Gothic Return theme. This became the reason behind all the dark and spooky aesthetics in the Battle Pass, and now for Winter Soldier’s and Psylocke’s new skins as well.
Bucky surely looks like an older version of himself who is more experienced with executing his enemies. The Blood Soldier skin also suits his morally ambiguous character. If you want to own this skin, it will cost you 1400 Units. You can also aim at buying the entire bundle for 1600 Units instead.
If you have been following Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty [2022], you would have seen Winter Soldier’s Revolution look in its 6th volume. This skin changes Bucky’s entire character model. Not only are his clothes changed, but his gun is also given a new look, alongside a slight change to his bionic arm.
The reason why I put this skin in S-Tier is because if you see a Winter Soldier wearing this costume at the front of his line, you know he means business. Fans \ interested in buying this skin can do so with 1400 Units but can also buy the bundle for 1600 Units instead.

A-Tier Winter Soldier Marvel Rivals Skin
NetEase Games came up with a costume for the Winter Soldier, which was not quite inspired by the comics. So, we can say that their idea of using a crop jacket and a color palette including black and camo green was pretty original. The outfit looks great on the character, and even the bionic arm stands out from the other colors used on his clothes. Since this is the default outfit, players don’t need to pay anything to get it. There is nothing too special about it like the S-Tier skins, and that is why it sits in the A-Tier.
B-Tier Winter Soldier Marvel Rivals Skin
This is a different take on the default Winter Soldier skin. There is nothing different about it compared to the character design for the default skin for Bucky Barnes. However, everything is based on a blue theme because the skin itself is called Navy Trooper. Players have to pay 600 Units to obtain it. Since it’s a recolor of the default skin, it is yet another “NetEase original”. The reason why it’s ranked so low is because the color seems a bit off compared to all other skins that Winter Soldier has.
