On February 5, 2025, Twitch streamer and One True King (OTK) member Emily “Emiru” Schunk hosted a Chinese New Year party for OTK members and friends. Fellow content creator Katherine “Katchii” attended the event and performed a Sieg Heil salute in front of other guests. Twitch banned the streamer for seven days after the incident and she apologized to her fans.
The streamer said that her actions were insensitive and she would take the time off to “reflect and be more mindful” of her actions. The N*zi salute, also known as the Sieg Heil salute, was used by the N*zi party in Germany since the 1920s. It was then used to show allegiance to Adolf Hitler and Germany during World War 2. After the war ended, Germany banned the use of the salute in any form, and it was a punishable offense in the country.
Content creators Brittany “Cinna” Lynn Watts and Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo condemned Katchii’s actions and said she deserved the ban. Meanwhile, Emiru faced accusations of covering up the incident by banning anyone who clipped it. Her livestream was also removed from her channel, sparking criticism from OTK fans.
Katchii Apologizes to Fans for Her “Unacceptable” Actions
After Katchii did the offensive salute on stream, the moment went viral and caught Twitch’s attention. The platform banned her for seven days after reviewing her actions. Katchii said that her actions were not funny and they shouldn’t be normalized. She added:
“I cannot handle alcohol in the slightest – I’m quitting. Taking this time to reflect and be more mindful of my actions and the impact they have. To anyone I offended or disappointed, I’m sorry. See you in 7 days.”
Deserved. That was completely unacceptable and insensitive. It’s not funny, it’s not a joke, and it shouldn’t be normalized.

Many internet users criticized OTK for continuing to platform her on member streams. The streamer has had multiple drunk controversial moments, including one at The Streamer Awards 2024. She is not a full-time OTK member but frequently appears on the members’ streams. OTK fans expressed their concerns that the organization might lose sponsors due to Katchii’s actions.
Cinna Comments on the Recent Controversy
Twitch streamer Cinna, who also attended the party, condemned the incident. The streamer addressed her fans on streams and said no one told her about what Katchii did at the party. The streamer condemned the incident and said:
“She (Katchii) just needs to apologize. That’s not something to joke about. I don’t think that’s something to joke about..you know what I mean? I hope that she knows that and that’s on her. I hope she learns from this and apologizes ‘cause like I said, I feel I have edgy humor and I wouldn’t make a joke like this.”
OTK member Mizkif also said that the ban was justified. Other streamers at the party have not commented on the situation so far. Katchii will return to streaming once her ban ends on February 13, 2025.
