The Beginning of Romance in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
You’ll get a chance to talk to Katherine when you are heading towards Suchdol. Show your extrovert skills and try to hold a conversation. When you reach Suchdol, you can ask Katherine if you could join her for the night.
Flirting in the Bathhouse
At Sigismund’s Camp during the mission of The King’s Gambit, you get to talk to Katherine, and she invites you to the bathhouse, where she’ll bathe you. Engage in a flirty conversation by choosing these dialogues:
- Persuasion: “It’s different with you.”
- Persuasion: “What about a kiss for luck?”
This mission ignites a spark of love between both. However, this is just the beginning.
The Fifth Commandment Side Quest
Katherine is a woman of strong will and intelligence. Impressing Katherine isn’t an easy task. You have to show heroism and chivalry to impress and win her trust. There are two particular side quests where you can succeed in impressing her. One of these is the Fifth Commandment Side Quest, which you get when you meet Katherine at the tavern in Kuttenberg.
In this quest, you have to track down a serial killer. After you finally find him, you get two choices: either let Katherine kill the killer or report the matter.
The Stalker Side Quest
The Stalker is another side quest where you catch the stalker. The mission takes place near the bathhouse where you were with Katherine. She will tell you that a strange person is stalking her, and that person even took her shoe. You have two options for catching him: one is to hide near the tent and catch him in the act, and the second is Mutt finding him with the scent of the shoe. Once you catch him, you have four options to deal with him:
- Persuasion: Leave her alone. You’re scaring her.
- Presence: If you don’t leave her alone, I’ll smash your head in.
- Bribe him.
- Defeat him in combat.
Completing both of these side quests will provide you with a huge reputation boost.
The First Instance of Romance
During the Italian Job mission, you can romantically talk to Katherine. However, you have to be extra vigilant to avoid missing the moment. After gaining access to the mint and saving the hostages, you will be directed to talk to Zizka. Instead of going to him, head to the minting room. You’ll notice stairs near a soldier’s dead body. Go upstairs, and you’ll find Katherine sitting there. You can reply with the option of romance- you look pretty. Also, complimenting her will make her blush.
Hunger and Despair Side Quest
You will finally get to romance Katherine in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 during the side quest of Hunger and Despair. The mission begins when you talk to Zizka about Katherine’s past. Speak with Katherine at the infirmary. Use the following dialogue:
- Dialogue Choice (Romance): I’ll bring help, and everything will be alright again.
Once you go to the ramparts and interact with the bedding, a cutscene will begin where Katherine romances Henry. It is worth noting that if you have romanced Hans, you wouldn’t be able to romance Katherine.
