Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 takes you back to medieval times, where you fight intense battles and undergo thorough explorations. The vast map of the game isn’t easily explorable without a horse. So, at times, Henry may feel the need for one.
Pebbles is a mare that was given as a reward to Henry for saving the life of Hans Capon. During the early stages of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Henry loses Pebbles — his trustworthy companion — when attacked near the Rocktower pond. Here is how to Find Pebbles in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

To get your companion back, head to the Semine castle and locate the stables at the back of the castle. You’ll find several horses near the stable, and Henry will easily recognize his grey horse.
But you can’t take Pebbles as it belongs to the Stable master, Groom Ballatay, now. Tell him that Pebbles is your horse and how you lost him during the attack. He will demand 140 Groschens from you, which you can either give or try for a bargain.

Since Pebble is your horse, you’ll probably not want to spend your hard-earned money on buying it. Thankfully, there are alternatives, and here’s how you can get Pebbles for free:
- Use Speech or Domination: If you possess strong persuasion skills, you can get Pebbles for free through the Speech dialogue- Be reasonable.
- Rob the stable master: For this, you’ll need a lockpick. The best place to get it is from Blacksmith at Tachov. Visit the stable master at night and unlock the door of his house using the lockpick. Close the door when you enter the house to avoid getting caught by the guards. Use your pickpocketing skills, and with luck, you can steal about 450 Groschens from him. After getting the money, revisit the stable master in the daytime. Hand over 140 Groschens for the horse, and you can set aside the rest for future missions and quests.
