Twitch streamer Nick “Nmplol” took to a recent Twitch stream to explain that Zack “Asmongold,” one of the co-founders of OTK (One True King), has seemingly cost the organization a sponsorship deal or two. Asmongold has recently announced that he has very little to do with the organization. The streamer has also been criticized for some of his takes in the past. Nmplol, during a discussion with fellow OTK member Emily “ExtraEmily,” suggested that someone had cost them a Razor sponsor deal.

While he initially didn’t take anybody’s name, the streamer later mentioned Asmongold, suggesting that it was him who he was referring to. Here’s what the streamer said:

“Guys, we lost that sponsor (Razor) a long time ago. I can pinpoint the exact moment we lost and who made us lose it. Ay, if you wanna get into those nitty gitties, we can do it. Let me tell you, it wasn’t people in this room.”

He added that he would discuss this in greater detail in a new podcast that he and Sodapoppin are launching. However, the podcast will be subscriber-only content:

“I am actually gonna dish about this stuff on the podcast that me and Chance (Sodapoppin) are making. It is going to be behind a paywall.”

He added:

“Since the Asmon (Asmongold) drama is hot, the first episode, I’m gonna go in a great detail on what sponsors we lost and why, behind the paywall.”

Is Asmongold Part Of OTK?

Asmongold recently addressed his situation and connection with OTK. While he didn’t explicitly confirm it, he strongly implied that he is no longer part of the organization. During a stream on February 21, 2025, he stated:

“‘You got kicked out of OTK, didn’t you?’ Yeah, I’m not involved with OTK at all, pretty much done, haven’t been for a while. So yeah, I’m chilling. If there is something going on with them, that’s up to them. It’s not my thing. I’ve been a very relaxed guy, ‘why?’ There’s a lot of reasons why. I can talk about it for a couple of minutes.”

He also explained that his disassociation was due to his shift toward political content, which had previously driven away sponsors. He stated:

“There are a couple of reasons. Number 1, my content, I’m doing controversial political content, is really hard to synthesize with content that is not like that. Because of how extreme it is and how polarizing it is. So, it is harder to find sponsors, it is harder to do things for that reason. So that’s one big reason.”

Will Neff, another OTK member, recently stated that he might leave the organization if certain changes aren’t made. While it wasn’t clear at the time what he was referring to, many have interpreted his comments as being related to Asmongold’s content. He said:

“Just know that we’re trying to make changes to make it a better org and you’ll probably hear more about that in the future, in the immediate future, and if we can’t make it a better place. If we can’t make it a, happier, healthier place, then, I’ll have to reevaluate where I stand. That’s all I’m going to say about that.”
