Genshin Impact was launched in 2020, and since then it has added a lot of content to explore and immerse yourself in. This naturally means that the size of the game has increased since its launch, and the official system requirements were given out a long time ago.
Here are the recommended system requirements to play Genshin Impact on PC.
Minimum System Requirements
- Operating system: Windows 7 SP1 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit, or Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 1030 and higher
- DirectX version: 11
- Storage: 115 GB of space
Though the game was 30GB at launch, this size has increased drastically over the years due to its constant content updates. The file size mentioned above will also increase or decrease depending on the language voice files you choose to download. Lastly, although Genshin might get downloaded on a lower storage for now, future updates are bound to increase its size even more.
Therefore, you should be ready to clear up a lot of space for this game.
At the minimum system requirements, you will be able to run Genshin Impact. However, this experience will not be the best, as you will be forced to run the game at the lowest graphical settings. Genshin’s art direction will shine when you are able to experience it at higher graphical settings.
