FragPunk is an exciting new 5v5 hero shooter that pits a group of Lancers with special abilities against another group of players. While you can play online with strangers, the fun is doubled when you get into competitive matches with your friends. In this guide, we’ll explain the exact steps to follow when you want to add your gamer friends in FragPunk so that you can begin your journey to dominate the battlefield together.
Adding Friends in FragPunk: Steps To Follow
The following is the process of adding friends to the game, so you can team up and play together.
- Step 1: Start the game and reach the main menu.
- Step 2: If you don’t have a NetEase account yet, register and log into your created account. If you already have a NetEase account, you can sign into it when launching FragPunk for the first time.
- Step 3: In the main menu, go the to Friend’s tab on the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
- Step 4: Add the ID or Username of your friends that you want to add to the game. Keep in mind that they too must have NetEase accounts set up before you can complete this process.
- Step 5: Any friends that you have linked to your launch platform will show up automatically in this list here. For instance, if you launch FragPunk from Steam, any friends on Steam will appear in the list.

What You Should Know About FragPunk?
FragPunk is a 5v5 shooter game where you can choose from a list of 13 Lancers. Each Lancer packs different abilities that you can use to your benefit during matches. The game also features a whopping 15 Game Modes. Also, it introduces a new mechanic called Shard Cards.
These Shard Cards allow both teams in a match to dictate certain rules. The said rules would apply to all 10 players in the match. For instance, the Quick Reload Shard Card can reduce the reload times for all weapons during that match.
FragPunk is currently available on PC. The PS5 and Xbox versions have been delayed, and their release dates are unknown.
