The Face-to-Face mission in Split Fiction is a sub-chapter of Chapter 8: Split in Split Fiction. In this mission, you will get a chance to fight the Rader. The mission begins with Mio and Zoe sliding down the slope towards Rader and dodging rolling red boxes to avoid a collision.
At the end of the ramp, you will be dropped down, and all you will find is a series of narrow openings. Navigate through these openings to eventually land on a massive cubical platform where you will encounter Rader. Defeating Rader in Face-to-Face Mission in Chapter 8 of Split Fiction
Once you arrive at the cube, Rader will start unleashing his wrath. He will mark certain regions of the cube in red—avoid them because they will shortly collapse. If you survive this, Rader will bend the cube and start rotating it, causing the red cubical obstacles to move towards you. Your task is to dodge them.
Next, Rader will flatten the area and start attacking you. In addition, several waves of red cubes will appear, which you must avoid. Also, shattered glitches will spawn on the cube—collect as many as possible. Once the glitches gather at the centre, interact with them, but Rader will separate you both before you can complete the task.
Head back to the cube and interact with the glitch before Rader attacks. This will uncover a gun for both Mio and Zoe. Up until now, you have been in defence mode, simply avoiding the damage. With the gun in hand, it’s time to attack Rader and give him a significant blow.
Keep holding the trigger to shoot Rader. As you do, Rader will punch the platform, resulting in a wave of boxes approaching you. The strategy is simple: keep dodging his attacks, shoot him until his health bar runs out, and you will beat Rader in this fight.
Once his health depletes, Rader will fall briefly, then get back up to destroy the stage. This wraps up your Face-to-Face mission in Chapter 8 of Split Fiction.
