After GTA 5 Enhanced was released on PC platforms, fans bombarded the game with negative Steam reviews, and here’s why.
The release of GTA 5 Enhanced was not well-received by fans resulting in “Mixed” reviews on Steam. The free upgrade dropped on March 4, 2025, and the community expressed their frustrations on how poorly optimized the game was. Some players reported account migration problems and performance issues. However, one of the most controversial changes was the removal of the text chat feature. Some user comments speculate that the account might be using mods, cheats, or exploits in multiplayer. This flags them as illegitimate accounts. However, there is no concrete evidence to confirm this.
