A Cauldron is a helpful tool in Schedule 1. It allows players to obtain new substances by unlocking a new method to acquire them. Essentially, you are “cooking” an item with the help of a Cauldron — something you couldn’t do with a Mixing Table. However, in many cases, players should have already installed a baking oven to make the best use of this new tool.
How To Unlock Cauldron in Schedule 1
Note: This article focuses on Schedule 1 and its content, which is a video game set in a fictional world. Items, recipes, etc, mentioned in the article are exclusively from the game and don’t refer to anything in real life.
Unlocking the Cauldron is pretty simple, and you don’t have to do anything specific for it. The main substance you will be using the Cauldron for is C*caine. Both of these items are unlocked as you progress through the game. Earn a fair amount of XP until you have reached Enforcer 1. As soon as you earn 1,025 XP and level up to Enforcer 1, you will see a message pop up on your screen. It will say, “Now Available: Cauldron.”
After hitting continue, you can visit Oscar to buy a Cauldron. For this, you must visit the Warehouse after 6 PM. It is located near the Docks. There are three vendors in this part of the city, and Oscar is located on the right side of the building. He will sell the Cauldron at his workstation for $3,000. Purchase it and start using it in your own workshop.
How To Use the Cauldron in Schedule 1
As mentioned above, the most common item you use the Cauldron to cook is C*caine. While this tool isn’t the only step in creating this substance in Schedule 1, it is still important. You can simply walk up to an installed Cauldron and press “E” on the keyboard to start cooking. Take the C*caine recipe mentioned below as an example:
- Message Salvador Moreno (or any other source that can get you the desired item) and buy Coca Seeds. Buy as many as you want at first. It will usually cost around $80 per unit.
- Wait for the drop, plant the seeds, and wait until the plant is fully grown. Take the Coca Leaves, along with Gasoline, and get to work at the Cauldron.
- Pour all the Gasoline in, then right-click on the Coca Leaves to grab them all and put them inside the Cauldron. Now, hit the green button to start the cooking process. After six minutes, the C*caine Base will be ready.
- You can then bake this C*caine Base in the oven to get C*caine. Use a hammer to break it into small balls, and it’s ready to be sold at whatever price you desire.
