Everything you need to know about the Master of Chaos Scroll in The First Berserker Khazan, including how to unlock it, and more.

The Master of Chaos Scroll in The First Berserker Khazan unlocks what is essentially the most overpowered armor and Dual Wield skill. However, getting this Scroll is not only difficult but nearly impossible in some instances. Ideally, the Master of Chaos Scroll should drop automatically as a reward for defeating the final boss of The First Berserker. The drop isn’t tied to any specific ending either and is meant to be available for all three of the game’s outcomes—Normal, The First Berserker, and Chains.
However, as of the game’s latest update (April 3, 2025), there’s a bug that can prevent the Master of Chaos Scroll from dropping after you defeat the final boss of the game.
Thankfully, there’s still a way that can potentially help you get the Scroll before jumping into New Game+. Here’s everything you need to know about the Master of Chaos Scroll in The First Berserker Khazan and how to obtain it.

How To Unlock the Master of Chaos Scroll in The First Berserker Khazan

The Master of Chaos Scroll is obtained as an automatic reward for defeating Ozma in the Master of Chaos main story quest. Regardless of which ending you get, the Scroll is supposed to drop as a reward. However, for many players, the Master of Chaos Scroll is bugged and does not drop after defeating Ozma. This issue is reported mostly by players who went for the game’s true (The First Berserker) ending.
Furthermore, there are also reports of players who went for the Normal ending and did not get the Scroll. Unfortunately, once you make your choice at Daphrona in the Master of Chaos quest, you cannot get a different ending until a fresh playthrough (NG or NG+).
Replaying the quest always locks you into the same ending, even if you go directly to the boss. However, we found that replaying the boss fight a few more times can drop the Master of Chaos Scroll. We at Deltia’s Gaming got the Scroll after defeating Ozma 5 times. It should be noted that we went for the true ending, which features 3 phases of the Ozma boss fight.
Unfortunately, it’s not a guaranteed drop. Some players have reported not getting the Scroll even after defeating Ozma more than a dozen times.
Alternative Methods To Obtain the Master Chaos Scroll

There are two alternatives to getting the Master of Chaos Scroll—reset your save’s progression after defeating Ozma, or start a fresh playthrough and go for the Normal ending. Both these methods are extremely time-consuming. However, we did find that starting a second playthrough can help get the Master of Chaos Scroll. Do note that you can reset your save’s progression via the Load Game option in the main menu.
Furthermore, it should be mentioned that Neople has already acknowledged the issue regarding the Master of Chaos Scroll. The studio has also promised to fix this issue in an upcoming title update.
