Dark and Darker is a fantasy extraction game developed by IRONMACE. The game features many different maps, with different types of enemies and zones in each of them. The Ice Cavern is one of the maps that was introduced back in patch 6.3 of Dark and Darker. This map takes you through icy caves and huge, multilayered chambers filled with traps and enemies.
Additionally, there is one thing that makes this map special. When playing on this map, you get to make choices regarding progression. You can either teleport out normally in the first level using various ways of extraction, or you can continue can face the final dragon boss for the biggest loot. Why Is Ice Cavern So Unique in Dark and Darker?
The reason this map is so unique is that you can choose to stay on the map and move to the next area, known as the Ice Abyss. Ice Abyss is significantly harder than Ice Cavern and contains the arena of the Ice Wyvern. It is a final boss with a myriad of attacks and phases. Additionally, the boss is nearly impossible to defeat alone, so we recommend progressing with a properly equipped team.
