Craft the Challenge Horn without much trouble with the help of this simple Runescape Dragonwilds guide on Dragon Tooth.
Dragon Tooth is one of the rarest materials in Runescape Dragonwilds that players will ever come across. It is a major ingredient when it comes to crafting the Challenge Horn as part of the Dragon Slayer primary quest. So far, it appears to be only a quest item that you can’t farm or get more than once. Either way, we will try to include all you need to know to obtain it in Runescape Dragonwilds.
Getting the Dragon Tooth in Runescape Dragonwilds
Like we mentioned above, it appears that the Dragon Tooth in question is a quest item that cannot be obtained more than once. This is why there are not a lot of ways to get it. So, we will try to be as accurate as possible. First, players need to obtain an Iron Pickaxe. You must already know how to get iron if you followed our guide to gather the Bloodwood Sap.
During this primary quest, players will encounter a spirit NPC called Cathan. This NPC reveals the Challenge Horn recipe. This Challenge Horn can be crafted using Dragon Tooth (1), Bloodwood Sap (1), and Bronze Bar (5). All players need to head to the Stormtouched Highlands in the northwestern area of the continent. In this highland region, you must go to the southwest section, right next to the “S” and “H” initials on the map, to get closer to your point of interest.
If you can, carry a Lodestone to ease your fast travel in this area, for whenever things get hazardous up there. Once you are all set, stay on the lookout for a giant dragon skull. You can either mine or explode the skull to collect what you need for your quest, that is, the Dragon Tooth. The skull is peeking out of the ground at a 45-degree angle, so it won’t be too difficult to spot.
There is also an enemy base nearby that you can either get around or exterminate. However, we suggest that you resort to the latter and take them out first. This way, you won’t receive surprise attacks after mining for the Dragon Tooth in question. So far, there are no more uses of these dragon teeth. You should just get one and evacuate this area as quickly as possible.
