Where can players obtain Bloodwood Sap from in Runescape Dragonwilds? Here’s a quick guide to help you in your gathering adventures.
Runescape Dragonwilds is littered with materials like the Bloodwood Sap. The game doesn’t tell you where to find these items, but they can be game-changing in many circumstances. One of the items that you can create using this material is a Challenge Horn. Players can use it to challenge Velgar at a dragonkin altar. Bloodwood Sap looks like regular gooey sap but has a slightly reddish color. It grows on the tree that we need to find.
Finding Bloodwood Sap in Runescape Dragonwilds
The land of Ashenfall is divided into three major subcontinents: Brynmoor, Ghornfell, and Fellhollow. All these are further divided into smaller regions. Ghornfell is where our interest lies in obtaining Bloodwood Sap in Runescape Dragonwilds. It consists of regions like Fractured Plains, Stormtouched Highlands, and Bloodblight Swamp.
Remember how we mentioned the Bloodwood tree earlier? They are found in the Bloodblight Swamp. Reach the southern edge of the region where you see a building on the map. Cross the bridge into this building. However, since this region is for the late game, you must be prepared for a lot of enemies. Also, bring an Iron Logging Axe to take the sap.
Once you have defeated the enemies that greet you, you can head to the giant tree in the middle, which will have deposits of the desired Bloodwood Sap. Use the Iron Logging Axe to take the deposits that are stored high up in the tree. Climb the tree roots, and you should be able to gather four Bloodwood Sap. However, make sure to empty four slots beforehand because each sap takes a slot.
Tool To Gather Bloodwood Sap in Runescape Dragonwilds
The first step of getting an Iron Logging Axe is making a Bronze Logging Axe. The latter is pretty useful when you want to farm Oak Trees in the game. Once you have made a Bronze Logging Axe, the only step that remains is upgrading this axe. You must first construct a Smithing Forge using Stone (24), Clay (8), Steel (4), Fire Runes (10), and Vault Shards (8).
Gather iron ore from Storm Touch Highlands and smelt it into iron bars using the Furnace. You can use the Iron Logging Axe in place of the Bronze Axe. It can do everything the Bronze one can and will also give you the added bonus of cutting through Bloodblight Roots and Bloodwood Sap.
