Marvel Rivals developers do not hold back while showering players with a plethora of cool-looking skins and cosmetics. It has been five months since the game’s release, and the support is still going strong in terms of both playable content and cosmetics. On 8 May UTC, however, they updated the game’s UI slightly. This was done to reward players for buying costumes in the game.

Marvel Rivals Players Can Now View Their Favorite Costumes Easily

When players visit the Heroes tab in Marvel Rivals, they find the entire roster. They can access a character’s cosmetics, lore, proficiency, and team-ups here. However, by default, the characters on the screen only appeared in their default costumes. If a player hovered over a Hero profile, the short animation pop-up would show the equipped costume, but otherwise, everything remained the same.

Marvel Rivals developers have changed this feature. Now, when players visit the Heroes tab, they will find it to be more dynamic. The equipped costumes will appear on each character in their windows without the need to hover over them. For example, take a close look at the image below.

Characters like Iron Man, Loki, Magik, Mantis, and Scarlet Witch in the above image have different costumes equipped. Therefore, they stand out among other characters on the roster who have a default costume equipped. This is a great way of customizing the UI for each player.

This is also a reward for players who buy or equip free costumes and support new designs for each character. Eventually, when players have collected enough skins, their entire Heroes tab will look different. Another feature that fans have long been asking for is a custom character icon in the HUD when selecting a character during a match.

Some players have demanded that costume-specific icons should appear on the character selection screen as well. If the developers make this update, we will be there to update players regarding the same.
