Alexcyclo is one of the many Gestral Merchants in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. These merchants can be spotted all across the Continent selling useful items and weapons. This article will cover important details about Alexcyclo, like where you can find him and what he has in store.
These NPCs often act as optional bosses, especially if they are less open to selling their wares until you work for it. Fortunately, not every Gestral Merchant feels the same way, and you can go through their inventory without much fuss.

Where Can You Find Alexcyclo in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?
As part of the first act, the surviving members of Expedition 33 make their way to the Gestral Village. You can find Alexcyclo standing by the entrance of the stage on the right side of the chief’s home. Approach the merchant and scroll through his wares.
You can purchase the Sakapatate, an optional outfit for Sciel. This is the only item in his inventory and is priced at 1,000 Chroma. As one of the earliest Gestral Merchants you encounter in the story, his items are limited and extremely affordable.
Alexcyclo is probably the least interesting Gestral Merchant since his inventory lacks actual items that could benefit your party, but there are plenty of other merchants within the same area. Since you are already there, you can take the Sakapatate from him and move on.
Meet and Trade With Other Gestral Merchants
Merchants often sell the following items:
- Weapons
- Cosmetic items
- Haircuts
- Pictos
- Chroma Catalysts
It is not a bad idea to stock up on Chroma Catalysts early in the story to have enough resources to avail yourself of the services of the Curator and upgrade your weapons. Pictos can come in handy in harder encounters, especially when equipped by the right party member.
Alexcyclo isn’t the only merchant around, but if you have enough Chroma to spare, go ahead and buy Sciel an outfit to match the rest of Expedition 33, or, as Maelle likes to call their band, the disaster expedition.
