Dune Awakening has dedicated questlines, with several separate quests in each. While some of these are main story questlines that you want to complete to progress the narrative, others are simple side quests. Completing these side quests can lead to various rewards, including, but not limited to, experience points. A Wider World is one of the miscellaneous quests that you’ll come across while playing the game. In this guide, we’ll take a look at how you can unlock and then complete the A Wider World quest in Dune Awakening.

How To Start A Wider World Quest in Dune Awakening

You will need to visit any of the trade posts within the game to begin this quest. The very first one that you’ll likely visit is the Griffin’s Reach Tradepost, which is located in the starting area of the game, Hagga Basin. As soon as you reach this or any other trade post, the quest will become available in your Journey tab.

How To Complete A Wider World Quest in Dune Awakening

In the trade post area, you’ll need to locate and speak to a specific NPC. Known as the Ornithopter Pilot, this character will be standing just beside a hologram depicting an Ornithopter. Go up and speak with the Pilot. You will need to pick the option to fly somewhere. Since you’re already at Hagga Basin, you can either select Arakeen or Harko Village as your destination. These two are the main hubs in the game.

Keep in mind that flying to either of the spots will set you back 2,500 Solaris. So, make sure you have enough before setting out to complete this miscellaneous quest in the game. Also, once you select the destination for your flight and reach a settlement, you will receive 200 XP for completing the A Wider World quest.
