Like most other modern games, Dune Awakening allows you to toggle the visibility of your helmet. This option allows you to show off your carefully crafted character’s face without losing the equipped headgear’s stats and benefits. Follow the steps below to hide your helmet:

  • Open settings from the main menu.
  • Head to the Gameplay tab.
  • Scroll down until you find the Show Helmet option, just before the Building section and next to Controller Rumble.
  • Toggling the Show Helmet option to No to hide your helmet. You can always switch it back to Yes to reveal your headgear anytime later.

Once you have disabled the Show Helmet, exit the settings. You will find your character’s face is now visible.

Alternate Method

Dune Awakening also includes another method to hide your helmet, which you can access through the Inventory section. In the Inventory screen, press D to bring up the expanded option, which lists your Clothing and Utilities.

You will find the ‘Helmet’ option under the boots slot in the Clothing section. Unchecking the helmet option hides your helmet and reveals your character’s face. Additionally, you can uncheck the Eyes of Ibad if you want to remove the visual effect caused by Spice.
