Now you have one more business to take into consideration when thinking of the best investments for your money. The new Hands On Car Wash property in the game unlocks a few jobs you can do, legitimate and illicit. However, the highlight of this new property is the money laundering business.
This begs the question, how does it fare with the other businesses in GTA 5 Online? With that said, here is our GTA 5 Online business tier list, updated with content from the 2025 Money Fronts update.

The Best GTA 5 Online Business Tier List
The tier list below will show you what we think are the best businesses to invest in in GTA 5 Online. This also puts the new content from the Money Fronts DLC into consideration.
S+ Tier Business
These are the best businesses to have and are a must-have if you want the most income in GTA 5 Online. Once you have these properly set up, you are most definitely set for life:

| The Nightclub | Yes: $50,000 every 48 minutes. Requires high popularity. | Arguably the Nightclub is the best business to have in the game. You get a ton of money from sources like sell missions and a wall safe. However, it requires at least a $6 million investment in other businesses to maximize profit. |
| Bunker | No | The Bunker is required for research and unlocking unique ammo, weapons, and vehicles. Sell missions can go up to $1 million per run. A side job is also included where you get $50,000 per session, which can be done once every 48 minutes. |
| Acid Lab | No | Can be acquired for basically free if you complete the First Dose mission. Can generate up to $335,200 per sell mission. |
| Agency | Yes: $50,000 every 48 minutes with maximum upgrade. | The Agency allows you to complete various jobs for money. On top of that, you unlock a wall safe that increases its money generation with each Agency contract mission completed. |
S Tier Business
These businesses do generate a decent amount of profit. However, they don’t earn as fast as the ones at the top of the tier list:

| Arcade | Yes: around $3,000 per 48 minutes. | Setting up this business takes time and effort. However, once you are finished, you can just let it run while doing other things, and it will generate money for you. |
| MC – Cocaine (Coke) Lockup | No | Requires you to purchase a Motorcycle Clubhouse before doing the operation. |
| Special Cargo Warehouse | No | The process can be time-consuming but generate a decent amount of profit from sell missions. |
| Hangar | No | Good source of income, but piloting planes can be a bit challenging. |
| Hands On Car Wash | Yes: Requires low Heat Level. | You do money laundering missions that generate decent profit but increase the Heat Level. Doing tedious Car Wash jobs will lower the heat level but does not generate much profit. |
A Tier Business
These businesses are still good money sources. However, their tedious nature makes them rank lower than the others:

| Salvage Yard | No | Fun missions and jobs to complete for decent profit. Requires a hands-on approach. |
| Auto Shop | No | Unreliable staff that can damage vehicles to be delivered. You need to manually do things yourself to generate the most profit. |
| Vehicle Warehouse | No | You steal vehicles and modify them to be sold. A good option for quick cash. |
| MC – Meth Lab | No | Requires a Motorcycle Clubhouse where you are the president. Can be linked to your Nightclub to generate more profit. |

B Tier Business
The lowest tier on the list is for the businesses in GTA 5 Online that require you to put in too much effort for little gain. You usually avoid them unless they are required for other business, like the Nightclub.

| MC – Weed Farm | No | Generates decent income but can be time-consuming to operate. It’s still useful if you link it to your Nightclub. |
| Bail Office | No | Instead of a business, it’s more of a bounty mission type. It takes time to complete these contact missions and is not very worthwhile. |
| MC – Counterfeit Cash Factory | No | Low profit but can be purchased to expand Nightclub operation. |
| MC – Document Forgery Factory | No | Another business where you just buy it to expand your Nightclub operations. |
