Dune Awakening features a vast map and traversing across this map becomes an oppressive chore fairly early on. The characters move slowly, and while you have vehicles to compensate for that, you can’t bring your vehicle everywhere. In such instances, you can only rely on your character’s mobility, which is fairly limiting.

To counter this limited mobility, Dune Awakening has a secret double jump and float feature that allows you to quickly cover distances on the ground. This feature is locked behind a utility tool, and we’re here to help you find it. In this guide, we shall go over how to get the double jump and float feature in Dune Awakening.

In order to acquire the double jump floating ability, you first need to acquire the Emperor’s Wings Mk1 schematic. This is a Unique suspendor belt schematic that greatly enhances your movement capabilities, allowing you to double jump and float.

You acquire the Emperor’s Wings Mk1 by visiting the southwest corner of the Hagga Basin region in Dune Awakening. You’ll find a cluster of mountains in this corner of the map. Hover over this cluster of mountains and you’ll also find the Imperial Testing Station No. 2.

Enter the Imperial Testing Station No. 2 and clear it out. There are a ton of enemies here, so be prepared. Once you clear them out, make your way to the end of the area and you will find a container. The Emperor’s Wings Mk1 schematic is inside this container.

Once you have the Emperor’s Wings Mk1 schematic, you have to craft it. You can craft this Unique suspendor belt by approaching and interacting with any of your Fabricators back at base. Press the ‘E’ key to interact with them, and you will be shown a list of schematics. Find and click on the Emperor’s Wings Mk1 schematic. You can then craft it using 8x Copper Ingot, 5x Spice-infused Copper Dust, and 6x Particle Capacitor.

Equip the newly crafted Unique suspendor belt, and you can enjoy the double jump feature and use it to float mid-air.
