This extensive guide will explain how you can begin and finish the ‘Track Down Skorda’ quest in Dune Awakening.

Dune Awakening lets you pick and join the faction you want from amongst the rivaling House Atreides and House Harkonnen. Siding with either of these factions will mean completing a variety of different quests for each group. Nevertheless, there’s one faction quest that you’ll have to complete regardless of which group you join.

Dubbed Track Down Skorda, this quest sees you track down various clues to solve the mystery of the ship ambushes in the Hagga Basin region. In the following guide, we will explain how you can start the Track Down Skorda quest and how you can complete it.

How To Begin the Track Down Skorda Quest in Dune Awakening

The quest will start differently for you depending on whether you are allied to the Atreides or Harkonnen factions. If you are a member of House Atreides, the quest begins when you speak to Lieutenant Tolliver after completing the previous contract, Den of the Deserter. On the other hand, if you are in Harkonnen, you will need to speak to Maxim Kazmir after completing ‘The Trouble with Traitors‘ contract to start this particular quest.

Both representatives are in The Anvil. Another interesting factor to remember here is that although the quest starts differently, the objectives are the same for both factions.

How To Complete the Track Down Skorda Quest in Dune Awakening

The first order of business involves searching for Captain Katrina Chloros, whose ship, Kytheria, was shot down somewhere in the Hagga Basin. The quest marker points to Hagga Rift. You will have to explore the dark caves underneath this location. You can take a Sandbike or the Ornithopter to traverse the area easily. Just two levels below the Hagga Rift surface, you will discover lights emanating from a recently set-up camp. You will find the ship captain here.

Speak with her, but she’ll not help you. Instead, she’ll ask you to leave her alone. Your next destination is the wreckage of the Kytheria, which is directly north of Katrina’s location. You will have to drop down one further level to arrive at the ship’s wreckage. Inside, you will run into several deserters. Take them out before proceeding. Soon, you will arrive at a hole on the floor with a glowing red light nearby. Drop down this hole and loot the corpses you find down there to retrieve a notebook. It has all the information that your faction representatives want.

Once you get the information, you will need to head back to the contract issuer. So, if you sided with House Atreides, report back to Tolliver at The Anvil. If you are Harkonnen, report back to Kazmir at the same location.
