When you first build your base, you might feel that it has plenty of space to house all of your essentials. However, as you progress through the game, you’ll keep finding more items that you need to keep safely tucked away in your base. While there are ways to expand your base, you’ll still run out of space frequently, especially if you don’t pay attention to space management.

One of the key aspects of managing the limited space is stacking the different storage containers or chests to make more room. Knowing how to do this will make your base seem more organized and will save you the headache of expanding it too frequently. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can stack chests in Dune Awakening.

Stacking chests will save you a lot of space and make your base look much more organized. To do this, follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Step 1: Equip the Construction tool.
  • Step 2: Now, use the tool to place a Half Wall on the floor where you want to stack your chests.
  • Step 3: Next, place a Choam Facility Rooftop tile along the rim of the Half Wall. Keep in mind that the Choam Shelter Rooftop tile, which is the default tile, won’t work if you want to stack chests.
  • Step 4: Stack the chests both over and under the rooftop tile.

In the case of chests, you can stack them sideways, which will allow you to fit four chests on a Rooftop Tile. If you place them facing you, you will only be able to place two of them per tile. Also, make sure you place the Half Wall and the Rooftop Tile before placing any chests, as the game doesn’t allow you to place these if you’ve already placed a chest there beforehand.
