In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can take up and fulfill online Aid Requests in Death Stranding 2.

While Death Stranding 2 isn’t a traditional multiplayer game, it allows you to assist other players like the first game in the series. You can place Aid Requests when you need help. The request could relate to finding a specific item or a weapon you require but can’t find yourself. Other players will be able to see any Aid Requests you create and respond to them if they are able to help out.
Similarly, you can respond to Aid Requests that another player has created and assist them. In this guide, we’ll explore how you can fulfill online Aid Requests in Death Stranding 2.
How Can You Fulfill Online Aid Requests in Death Stranding 2

Before fulfilling such requests, you must know how the mechanic works. You must play Death Stranding 2 in online mode for these requests to appear. Go into the game settings and switch to online mode if you’re playing offline. Next, while you’re out in the world, you will receive notifications from time to time about aid requests. Remember that you will only receive these requests in the general area of your Sam.
Once you get such a message, use the Odradek to locate the Aid Request and why the player needs help. In most cases, it’s related to a certain item or weapon. If you have such an item, you can then fulfill the request. To do that, proceed to the location associated with the Aid Request. You will then need to drop the requested item within the circle on the ground. If you do it correctly, the ‘Send Cargo’ option will appear on the screen. Press Square to complete the request.
If the Send Cargo option doesn’t appear, your item might not be within the marked circle on the ground. Alternatively, if it’s a gun, you can’t send it to players if the weapon doesn’t have any ammo in it.
If you fulfill the Online Aid Request in Death Stranding 2, you will receive 100x Likes, which will help improve your Porter Grade. You can also see the other Sam Porter Bridges briefly appear inside the circle to retrieve the item. They’ll then give you a thumbs-up sign before returning to their dimension via teleportation.
