How To Get Aren's Light Armor in Dune Awakening

In Dune Awakening, you’ll start facing challenging enemies and situations right out of the gate after the tutorial ends. At this point in the game, you will have the most basic weapons and armor that won’t be ideal when facing off against foes wielding high-powered guns and the best armor. So, you’ll need to immediately begin your search for ways to upgrade whatever weapons and armor you have on.

Easily one of the best armor sets that you can acquire early on is Aren’s Armor. In the following guide, we’ll discuss how to get your hands on Aren’s Light Armor in Dune Awakening and why it is such a great option.

How To Acquire Aren’s Light Armor in Dune Awakening

Head to Hagga Basin South and reach a location marked Wreck of the Alcyon. If you have the Survey Probe up already, finding this particular location shouldn’t be difficult at all. Make sure you have some weapons before you head out here though. There are several enemies you’ll need to take down before you can reach the loot location where Aren’s Armor pieces drop.

Once at the location, eliminate the enemies at the base of the wreckage and then start your climb upwards. Look to the right and if you spot scratch marks on the rock’s surface, you’re on the correct path. Follow this route up to the top of the rock formation.

You will discover a downed Ornithopter that you can salvage using your Cutteray. However, just beside that is a tent where you’ll find the primary chest. Inside this chest, you will get the schematic for a piece of Aren’s Armor.

Remember that Aren’s Light Armor comprises five different armor pieces. So, you’ll have to return to the Wreck of Alcyon at least five times to retrieve all the schematics and complete the set. Since the enemies and loot in the location respawn every 45 minutes, you shouldn’t have to wait too long to complete your five trips here to end up with the entire light armor set.
