Hades 2: All Echo Buffs

Echo in Hades 2 is one of many NPCs whom you can meet during your underworld playthroughs. She can grant you some buffs (blessings) that you cannot obtain anywhere else in the game. Additionally, some of her buffs can entirely alter the course of your run because of how unpredictable they can be. 

To help you out, here are all the Echo buffs that you can obtain in Hades 2. 

All Echo Buffs in Hades 2 

Echo in Hades 2 appears in the Fields of Mourning as a helpful NPC who aids you in your journey. She appears after two or three rooms and has a two-handed golden symbol before her area entrance. Echo stands by the water and repeats your last said words due to the curse inflicted on her.

Here are all the buffs that you can receive by talking to Echo in Hades 2: 

Buff Name	Effect
Boon Boon Boon	Choose 1 out of 3 random Boons from the previous night.
Evade Evade Evade	Gain +50% Dodge chance, but lose 2% of this each time you Dodge.
Fight Fight Fight	Gain +50% Health and Magick based on their limits, but lose 5% of this after each Location.
Gift Gift Gift	After you switch Keepsakes, you also gain the basic effect of the Keepsake that is picked.
Gold Gold Gold	After your next purchase from Charon, you may receive another one at no additional charge.
Pom Pom Pom	Double the Lv. of a random one of your Boons whose Lv. is higher than the rest.
Reward Reward Reward	Manifest a copy of your most recently claimed Reward.
Survive Survive Survive	Replace all spent uses of Death’s Embrace with ones that restore 50% Health and Magick, then less and less.

Note that only three of these buffs appear for you to take, and only one can be taken. It is possible for Echo not to appear at all during your run, as her spawning is not a guaranteed event.

Tips and Tricks for Echo in Hades 2

Here are some tips and tricks that you should remember before talking to Echo: 

• The Boon Boon Boon buff takes your previous run into consideration. This also includes runs from the Chaos Trials. It is possible to obtain boons from a specific god by planning your Chaos Trials and picking the correct boons. Moreover, this is a good way to get legendary boons like Shocking Loss from Zeus, which gives you a 25% chance to defeat enemies in one hit. 
• Give one Nectar to Echo to obtain her Keepsake, which is the Concave Stone. It gives you a 75% chance at max level to provide one extra boon when picking one. This can be particularly useful when aiming for a build that involves a specific god or element.
• You can pick Survive Survive Suvive to replace all your spent Death Defiances, which is quite helpful in challenging playthroughs like Rivals mode.
