Learn how to switch weapons in Ghost of Yotei. This will be useful, as certain weapons are more effective depending on the foe you encounter.
In Ghost of Yotei, you can quickly switch between weapons by tapping the R2 button and the button that is mapped to the weapon you want to use. There are five weapons in the game to choose from, each of which is effective against another type of weapon, similar to Pokemon types. So being able to swap between them effectively will help you master the combat of the game faster.
How To Switch Weapons in Ghost of Yotei
In Ghost of Yotei, these are the buttons you have to press in combination with the R2 button to switch to using this weapon.

When To Switch Weapons in Ghost of Yotei?

While battling enemies, keep an eye on the weapon they wield. Depending on which, you will either continue with or switch out your current weapon. For instance, say you are facing an enemy with sickles while wielding a Katana; press R2 and then Triangle to switch from your Katana to your Yari. This will provide a better matchup for the fight and make your foe easier to deal with.
