Ghost of Yotei has an impressive selection of weapons on offer, far exceeding the tools you had to play with in its predecessor. The weapons all allow you to approach combat differently, dividing themselves into the categories of melee, ranged, and quickfire tools.

Katana	The starting weapon of the game. This is unlocked by default.
Dual Katanas	Complete The Way of the Dual Katana quest to acquire this weapon from Master Hanbei.
Odachi	Complete The Way of the Odachi quest and acquire the weapon from Master Yoshida.
Yari	Complete The Way of the Yari quest and acquire the weapon from Sensei Takahashi.
Kusarigama	Complete The Way of the Kusarigama questline and acquire the weapon from Master Enomoto.
