In this guide we will tell you all of the known Easter Eggs available in Ghost of Yotei and their locations.
Ghost of Yotei has several Easter Eggs scattered throughout its overworld. Not only are there secrets related to its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima, but there are also references to other games made by the developer Sucker Punch Productions. So in this guide, we will list them all and where to locate them.

All the Easter Eggs Available in Ghost of Yotei
Jin Sakai’s Gear

The Storm Blade side quest acts as a direct reference to the predecessor of this game, Ghost of Tsushima. Talk to Ugetsu the storyteller in the Forgotten Shrine in the southern part of Simha Coast. This will kick off the side quest, where, at the end, you will receive the Storm Sword used by Jin Sakai. You will also receive his Mask and Stag Helmet.
Sly Thief Mask

For this Easter Egg, you will have to travel to the Ishikari Plain, where Jigoku Fortress is. After completing three Ishikari Plain bounties, you will unlock Shiro the Swindler. The whole mission is a reference to the Sly Cooper games, also made by Sucker Punch. And as a reward, you even get the Sly Thief Mask, a clear reference to the character.
Pillar of the Fallen at Ohara Beach

On Ohara Beach, there is a Pillar of the Fallen that has been struck by lightning. This is a reference to Cole McGrath in inFamous, another game by Sucker Punch, who had lightning based powers. Pick up the Infamous Strike blade to use on your journey.
Faithful Leap Shrine

There’s another Sly Cooper reference in Ghost of Yotei. This one is a mural of Sir Raleigh the Frog, the first boss that Sly faced in his debut game. To see this frog, you’ll have to travel to the Faithful Leap Shrine in Hidaka Grove in the Tokachi Range. Instead of using the ramp to go forward, you’ll have to head left amid the rocky walls to see this Easter Egg.
Mural at Amber Respite Shrine

We have an Easter Egg for the sequel to inFamous this time, the appropriately named inFamous 2. Journeying to the Amber Respite Shrine near Yubari Lake in Tokachi Range, drop down the gravel slopes and head into the woods. Near the cliff, you will see a mural depicting Cole using his powers to fight the Beast.
Death Stranding 2 Mask

Yes, you can get a Golden Mask based off of Death Stranding 2 in Ghost of Yotei. You will need to complete all 13 Shrine Climbs across Ezo to get it, receiving it on your last one. Funnily, Death Stranding 2 also had a mask based on the Onryo mask in Ghost of Tsushima, so it seems as if the two franchises are just trading Easter Eggs at this point.
