S Tier Armor Sets

Armor of the Undying	Fight and defeat the Undying Samurai to get this armor.	If the weapon is aligned, Staggering enemies restores a minor amount of Health. If the weapon is aligned, the window to perform Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge is increased by a minor amount. If the weapon is aligned, Focus Attacks have a minor chance to increase Stagger damage
Robes For Sitturaynu	The Ainu gift it to Atsu after you complete the Heart of an Ainu quest.	Fireflies and controller vibrations guide you to Altars of Reflection when you are within a 55m distance. Golden Birds can lead to Shamisen Songs and Sumi-e Painting locations. Flowers have a minor chance to be automatically collected when riding through white flower trails or stealthing through tall grass.
Taro’s Armor	Rescue Taro from a group of scavengers that you’ll randomly encounter somewhere on Ezo while exploring. Taro will then gift you the armor for saving him.	All Spirit gains increased by a minor amount when graced with a cooking Spirit bonus. Maximum Health increased by a minor amount. Fire and Cold damage reduced by a moderate amount.

Armor Set Name	How To Get	Effects
Onryo Armor	This is the default armor that Atsu will have on from the beginning. So, you don’t have to acquire it. Also, the armor upgrades automatically as you progress through the campaign.	Once fully upgraded, the armor has the following effects: Killing an enemy with a Spirit Attack or a thrown melee weapon has a moderate chance of terrifying nearby enemies. The wolf has a major chance to appear when enemies are Terrified. Terrified enemies take increased damage by a massive amount.
Crimson Kimono	You can get this armor by completing the Crimson Kimono myth quest.	Chain Assassinations can be performed with Kunai (max 2 Kunai thrown). Enemy detection is reduced by a massive amount. Kusarigama Assassinations can be unleashed from further away. The distance is increased by a major amount.
Spider Lily Armor	You will get this particular armor by completing the Spider Lily General myth quest.	Enemies have a minor chance to drop throwable weapons. Stagger damage inflicted by melee weapons increases by a minor amount. Staggering an enemy has a minor chance of dealing minor Stagger damage to nearby enemies.
Bounty Master Armor	Complete Soma the Condemned Beauty bounty to acquire this specific armor set.	Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge windows are increased by a minor amount, but regular Parries are disabled. A Perfect Parry enables 2 additional counterattacks. All Spirit Gains are increased by a minor amount.

B Tier Armor Sets

Mercenary Attire	While pursuing the Oni and completing the Belly of the Beast part of the game, you’ll unlock the armor automatically. Drinking Sake grants a minor amount of additional Spirit.
Ginji’s Guard Armor	Complete the quest, dubbed Pride Before Tea, to get this armor as a reward.	Increase Tanegashima reload speed by a minor amount. Blocking deflects incoming bullets. Incoming projectiles inflict less damage by a major amount.
Nine Tail Armor	You’ll get this armor during The Kitsune Revenge tale.	Quickfire weapon damage and the duration of status effects inflicted on enemies are increased by a minor amount. Assassinating enemies has a minor chance of granting 1 Quickfire ammo. Enemy detection is reduced by a minor amount.

Dragonfly Armor	Complete the Dragonfly Armor quest to get this armor as a reward.	Fully drawing your bow creates a brief timed glint. Firing an arrow during the glint empowers your shot, moderately increasing its damage and range. Firing an empowered Arrow grants a minor amount of Concentration. Increase Arrow reload speed by a moderate amount.
Fundoshi	To get this armor, you’ll need to visit all of the Hot Springs in the game and relax in them.	At the cost of warmth, running and sprinting no longer create noise.
