Zeus
After the 1.0 update, Zeus has one of the strongest boons in the game, Shocking Loss. It provides a 25% chance to zap any enemy instantly (bosses excluded). At higher fear levels, this boon can be a run changer.
However, being a legendary boon, Shocking Loss is difficult to acquire in the beginning. That’s where Static Shock and Spirit Surge come in. Both of these boons can be obtained early and are better choices for clearing mobs and fighting bosses. You can acquire Zeus boons by taking only the Olympian boons; he should appear a bit later.
Zeus’ boons afflict Blitz, which can be re-triggered constantly during boss fights. After the final 1.0 buffs, he remains one of the most versatile boons among the Olympians.
Apollo

Mini-bosses and elite enemies all have armor, and sometimes your build might struggle until you get your legendary. Molten Touch makes these encounters trivial.
