Falling Guillotine is a void vortex frame sword from Season 23’s Into the Light update. Falling Guillotine was a previously released sword that has now been brought back with new perks available. Swords are great boss damage weapons especially when paired with survival supers and are potent PVE and PVP weapons. They are capable of dishing out massive damage per second and overall damage if you can survive in melee range.

The best perks for the Falling Guillotine PVE God Roll are Jagged Edge, Swordmaster’s Guard, Vorpal Weapon, and Bait and Switch. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

Swords are a very strong heavy weapon choice for PVP allowing for multiple kills and some great movement with our perks. They can require a higher skill ceiling to understand when and how to use them but are potent weapons in the right hands.
How to Get Falling Guillotine in Destiny 2
You can obtain Falling Guillotine from Onslaught, the new activity released with the Into the Light update. To enter Onslaught, go to your Director map, select Into the Light, then queue for the Onslaught activity. While in Onslaught, you can get multiple weapons by completing the activity and ranking up Lord Shaxx Onslaught’s reputation. Going to the Hall of Champions social area, found within the Into the Light map area, you can turn in Trophies of Bravery at the chest next to Lord Shaxx for additional weapons. Lastly, attune your loot for a specific weapon, increasing the chances of additional drops of the weapon in Onslaught activities.
