The Malakar guild boss fight is pure nightmare fuel, making it just as satisfying when you put down the one-eyed monster for good. It’s not an easy road though. Malakar is at level 45, making it one of the most difficult opponents to beat.

Try to take on the boss with guild members who are already at or above 45. If you wish to find the arena in the open world, you can find it in the Manawastes region. But players can also access him using the guild hall if they are part of a level 15 guild.

Irrespective of what difficulty you consider it to be, Malakar is a fun boss to take down if you can learn to appreciate its nightmarish model design. If you only found him scary because of his looks, his attack list might do a number on you.

Malakar Guild Boss Does Not Fall Easily

The level marker on Malakar is already intimidating. A level 45 boss is probably more powerful than the majority of the player base. The developers also gave him a terrifying look to keep everyone at bay, along with attacks that could make you smash your monitor.

Beware of the Eye

Unironically, one of Malakar’s signature moves is casting an ‘eye’ on its enemies. These are huge red eyes that pop over 1-2 random players at a time. This shows which guild member Malakar will focus on. If he casts 2 red eyes, the one that is open is in grave danger.

The character who has been targeted needs to keep running around the arena away from the big-eyed monster. If they are within his melee range, he will pound the ground and damage everyone within the big AoE.

Get Ready for the Fury Attack

When the Malakar guild boss glows purple, get ready for the fury attack. He will try to zap you, but if you block at the right time, his efforts will be in vain.

Avoid the AoE Projectiles

The infamous boss will mark areas in purple on the ground randomly. Get out of the specific location immediately because he will send in some projectiles. When hit, the attack will have an AoE which is better to avoid.

Malakar Has Got Moves

During the battle, our big-eyed friend can also Teleport to a completely different location on the battleground. He usually combines it with a Petrify Sun and a mass pull that drops everyone in the AoE right below him.

This mechanic is usually unavoidable unless you have good movement speed and can bait the Teleportation. If not, relying on the medics for this one can’t be too bad.

Malakar Guild Boss Won’t Let You Go Empty Handed

Once it bites the dust, the game will reward you for putting an end to Malakar. The loot that it drops is just as randomly generated as any other boss but makes everything worth the effort. Here is a loot list that you might want to check before making up your mind to fight Malakar:

  • Malakar’s Lethal Crossbow
  • Black Lion Brutality
  • Grand General’s Command Visor
  • Worshiper’s Magic Bracers
  • Berserk Charge Blade
  • Sharp Spiked Horn Bow
  • Elite Resistance Sword
  • Elite Resistance Broadsword
  • Blessing of Grace Plate Boots
  • Bloody Wind Leather Boots
  • Clear-Eyed Figment

This wraps up the overall guide you need to consider to face off against Malakar. It won’t be an easy route but with team play and proper understanding of the opponent’s attack patterns, you might just end up enjoying it.
