Kai Cenat is an American content creator, social media personality, and livestreamer. At 22 years old, the New York City native is the youngest member of the group Any Means Possible (AMP). The collective also includes Dontavius “Duke Dennis”, Roberto “Fanum”, Din “Agent 00, Chris “Chrisnxtdoor, and Davis “ImDavisss”. Despite his young age, he boasts the largest fanbase within the group, currently standing at 13.5 million followers on Twitch.

Kai Cenat originally started making content when he was in 10th grade, uploading skits on his Facebook page. Eventually, he made a shift to YouTube in 2018 and began uploading prank videos and vlogs. One of his most viral videos from his early YouTube days belonged to his Ding Dong Ditch series. Eventually, he migrated to Twitch, where he now makes reaction and gaming-based content.

In his broadcasts, Kai Cenat has also appeared alongside celebrities, including hip-hop stars such as Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, and Offset. His most recent collaboration was with WWE star John Cena. Alongside AMP member Fanum, he conversed with Cena during the approximately one-and-a-half-hour-long broadcast.

When Kai Cenat Realised He Missed A Message From Rockstar Games

Kai Cenat also hosted video game marathon broadcasts on Twitch, covering titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Elden Ring, and Bloodborne. A marathon livestream is one wherein Cenat would play a game from the start to its end within a single non-stop broadcast.

During his Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice marathon livestream, Kai realized that the official account of Rockstar Games follows him on X. Expressing his surprise at the Grand Theft Auto series developer interacting with him on the social media site, he exclaimed:

“Oh my gosh! Rockstar follows me, bro! Oh my gosh!”

He then came across a private message he had missed from the game developer’s account. In the message, the developer studio informed the streamer that a team from the studio would be present at the TwitchCon 2024 event in San Diego from September 20-September 22. Further, they brought up the streamer’s past marathon broadcast of Red Dead Redemption 2 and stated that they wanted to use the TwitchCon event as an opportunity to meet Kai and introduce themselves.

Unfortunately, it had been too late by the time he saw the message, and the event had already passed. The message sent to Kai Cenat by Rockstar Games said:

“Hey Kai, We wanted to let you know that a few of us from Rockstar Community Team will be visiting TwitchCon 2024 in San Diego this week, September 20-22. We enjoyed watching your playthroughs of Red Dead Redemption 2 and would love to introduce ourselves. If you’re planning to be at the event, please let us know. All the best, The Rockstar Games Community Team.”
