This article lists all quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, including the main story, companion, and optional questlines.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is filled to the brim with some really memorable and engaging questlines. While the game is rather linear in structure, it does offer plenty of optional content that can be completed any time in between main story quests. The progression in developer BioWare’s latest action RPG is somewhat similar to that of the modern Tomb Raider or God of War games. You essentially have your main story quests that make up for the bulk of the game’s content. However, there are also optional quests peppered throughout the game’s main story’s length. Most of the optional quests can be tackled at any time during the main story, albeit with some limitations.
Whereas, there are some, like the Companion quests, which need to be completed alongside certain main story questlines. Given the sheer volume of quests on offer, it can get quite tricky to keep track of all of them while also trying to focus on the story, characters, and the game’s world itself. To help with that, we have prepared a handy list for you to refer to as you go through The Veilguard. Here’s a list of all the quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
List of All Quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard are divided into Main Story, Companion, and Region. The Main Story and Companion Quests are self-explanatory and aren’t optional (depending on the choices made throughout the story). Companion Quests are basically tied to the game’s romance and Companion system. The Region Quests, on the other hand, constitute the optional content of The Veilguard. The Region Quests are optional stories that offer an insight into the world of Thedas, as well as other characters outside of the Rook and his party. Furthermore, the Region Quests help boost the Rook’s faction strength. That being said, here’s a look at all the quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard:

Although the Solas Memories are considered within the main story quests, they aren’t necessary to make progress. The Solas Memories are essentially small snippets of the Dreadwolf’s past, recounting his memories from the Crossroads. You don’t need to complete all three of these quests to get one of the endings in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, completing all of them does help in understanding Solas’ motivations behind his past actions.
Companion Quests
Companion Quests are essentially tied to the Rook’s companions. Depending on your story choices and preferred companion(s), you will be able to complete only a certain amount of these quests in a single playthrough. The Companion Quests are unlocked gradually as you go through the main story. They aren’t missable per se, but you won’t be able to complete certain Companion Quests depending on your choices and story progress.
