Dragon Age: The Veilguard is out, and with it comes a new adventure in Thedas. The game has several locations to explore, characters to talk to, companions to bond with, and quests to explore. Several of these activities are tied to trophies in the game, and if you’re looking to obtain the coveted Platinum Trophy, you will have to spend a lot of time in the game.
In this guide, we shall go over five tips and tricks that you should keep in mind to easily get the Platinum Trophy in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
1) Explore, Explore, and Explore
The world of Thedas is massive, with lots of secrets to uncover and treasures to find. We recommend exploring, as there are several altars and mementos hidden away on the map. Next time you see a path off the main road, we recommend taking it, as you never know what secret you may find.
2) Most of the Trophies Are Tied to the Main Quest
Dragon Age: The Veilguard has 53 trophies for you to collect. While this may seem daunting for those aiming for a Platinum Trophy, worry not, as a good chunk of these trophies are tied to the main story. Simply playing through the game and reaching the end assures you the trophies, so you need not pay much heed to the story-related trophies.
3) Talk to Your Companions
Your companions accompany you across your journey through Tedas. We recommend talking to these companions as often as you can at the Lighthouse. Each of these companions have quests tied to them, which in turn are tied to trophies. Complete all the companion quests to unlock these trophies.
4) Master the Combat
Several of the game’s trophies link directly to combat in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. These trophies will have you pushing enemies off ledges and performing takedowns. As you play through the game and master the combat, you will have plenty of opportunities to do so and will unlock the trophies without much effort.
5) Hunt the High Dragons
Dragon Age is nothing without the thrill of dragons, and The Veilguard seems to agree, with a couple of trophies tied to these mystical creatures. You will find these dragons in either main quests, side quests, or companion quests. We recommend finding them and beating them to unlock their trophies.
