How to Get Mauveine in Enshrouded
To get Mauveine in Enshrouded you will need to complete the Alchemic Wisdom quest for the Alchemist, which will unlock the ability to craft Mauveine at the Laboratory. Therefore, you will also need to have the Laboratory crafting station in order to create Mauveine.
First, if you don’t have it already, the Laboratory is an advanced crafting station for the Alchemist. After finding the Scientific Instruments during an Alchemist quest, you will also need 1 Athanor, 40 Fired Brick, 10 Copper Bar, and 3 Glass to construct it.
You will not be able to receive the Alchemic Wisdom quest until you have access to the Albaneve Summits region. This requires you to strengthen your Flame Alter to at least Level 6.
Next, the Alchemic Wisdom quest will send you out to collect two separate pieces of the Alchemist’s Wall Hanging. The first location will be marked on your map and you can find it at the top of the tower in the Alchemist’s Quarters. The second piece is located in the Vulture Nests to the northwest of the Albaneve Summits Ancient Spire. The wall hanging can be found used as bedding in one of the nests.
Then, return to the Alchemist and speak with him to craft an Alchemist Showcase framing for the wall hangings. The only crafting materials you will need for this are 4 Conifer Logs. Now place the Alchemist Showcase frame somewhere in your shelter, then inspect it to place each wall hanging piece in an empty slot.
Finally, completing the quest will unlock the recipe for Mauveine at the Alchemist. Return to your Laboratory and find the Mauveine recipe in your available list. To craft Mauveine in Enshrouded you will need:
- 5 Tar
- 1 Alchemic Base
- 1 Nitrate
- 1 Sulfur
What is Mauveine, and what is it used for?
In Enshrouded you will need 40 Mauevine, along with other materials, to strengthen your Flame Alter to Level 8. The full list of materials to strengthen your Flame Alter to Level 8 includes:
- 12 Survivors
- 40 Spark
- 40 Obsidian
- 40 Silver Bars
- 40 Mauveine
- 40 Wolfsbane
- 40 Amethyst
- 1 Fell Dragon Youngling Head
Additionally, you can also use Mauvine to craft Violet Fabric with the Hunter craftsperson. You do not need to unlock any additional crafting stations to do this once you have the materials. To craft Violet Fabric you will need:
- 1 Fabric
- 1 Mauveine
In Enshrouded you can created dyed fabrics in a variety of colors. Currently, you can use some colored materials to craft gears sets, while others can be used to make wall decorations.
