The Mayrina’s Locket is a story item found by looting or pickpocketing Mayrina NPC in Act 1. After you encounter Auntie Ethel in the Sunlit Wetlands, you will encounter Mayrina in the Teahouse. From here, you can either kill Mayrina, pickpocket or discover Auntie Ethel’s secret plans and expose them to Mayrina. Each path will result with the locket.

How to get Mayrina’s Locket in BG3?
To get Mayrina’s Locket, head towards Auntie Ethel’s House near the Riverside Teahouse on the southwest side of the map. On the way you will encounter Mayrina’s brothers and Auntie Ethel. After this event, then you will be able to approach the Sunlit Wetlands in the Riverside Teahouse.
The Save Mayrina quest is complex; you can either kill Mayrina or pickpocket the item from her. It’s advised that you pickpocket the locket from her because the Save Vanra quest will not be available in Act 3 if you do not. Therefore, approach the house but avoid the Hag or don’t engage her in combat if possible through dialogue (best to save prior). Here are all the ways you can gain the locket:
- Kill Mayrina and loot it from her corpse
- Pickpocket before fighting Auntie Ethel
- If you kill Auntie Ethel, use Speak of the Dead spell and learn what she’s planning. Then pass persuasion checks and convience her she’s been lied to. Mayrina will gift the locket to you.
- When you enter the Riverside Teahouse, tell Mayrina that Auntie Eithel killed her brothers. Then, fight Auntie Ethel or abandon Mayrina at the end of the fight.
How to use Mayrina’s Locket in BG3?
Unlike other story items, Mayrina’s Locket has no use outside of the quest Save Mayrina. Therefore, feel free to keep in your storage or sell for little gold.
