The Companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard are easily one of the most engaging and intriguing aspects of the game. While the story of The Veilguard is heavily centered around the Rook and Solas, the Companions you meet throughout the story also play a major role in the game’s central narrative. Furthermore, as is the case with any other BioWare game (save for Anthem), the decisions you make in regards to the Companions, ripple throughout the main story. Even the ending(s) are decided based on the Rook’s relationship with his Companions. Suffice to say, the Companions and the quests they have to offer make up quite a significant part of The Veilguard.
The Companion Quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard have been simplified quite a lot. Compared to previous entries in the Dragon Age franchise, the Companion Quests in BioWare’s latest title are much easier to keep track of. However, given the sheer volume of quests in the game, it can be a bit confusing to take note of the ones related to your Companions. List of All Companion Quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The Companion Quests in Dragon Age: The Veilguard aren’t classified as a separate quest type. Instead, they’re unlocked and tracked in-game the same way as the main story quests. As you go through The Veilguard’s main story, you will gradually unlock the Companions and their accompanying quests. Some of these quests are unlocked almost immediately as you meet a new Companion and complete the story quest involving them. However, the majority of the Companion Quests are unlocked quite late into the game’s main story progression. Furthermore, these quests also include the primary romance options for the Companions.
