The Uzume RR4 is a solar adaptive frame sniper rifle introduced into the Nightfall playlist during Season of the Splicer and then reintroduced during Season of the Wish and Episode: Echoes. Sniper rifles are a favorite weapon for long-range engagements in PvE and PvP. Adaptive frame sniper rifles are the middle-of-the-road pick dealing less total damage the rapid-fire frames but being faster on the draw than aggressive frames. The Uzume RR4 can be enhanced, granting it access to enhanced perks in Columns 3 and 4. There is also an Adept version of the weapon that can be obtained on certain weeks during Grandmaster Nightfalls. In this guide, we will discuss the PvE and PvP god rolls and how to get the Uzume RR4 sniper rifle.

What Is the Uzume RR4 God Roll in Destiny 2?
A god roll is the best combination of perks and masterwork that a weapon can get. God rolls are often sought after as they are considered the ultimate drop of that weapon and the most effective roll used in most content. In most situations, there are two god rolls for any gun, a roll for PvE and one for PvP. The Uzume RR4 has some great traits for its PvE god roll, making it one of the better adaptive frame sniper rifles for PvE. While its stats are great for PvP, the Uzume RR4 lacks any traits that make it unique or powerful in the Crucible.
PvE Uzume RR4 God Roll
The best perks for the Uzume RR4 PvE God Roll are Arrowhead Brake, Extended Mag, Fourth Times the Charm, and Vorpal Weapon. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.

- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
- Magazine: Extended Mag
- Adept Flex: Tactical Mag

- Column 4 Trait: Vorpal Weapon
- Masterwork: Handling
- Origin Trait: Omolon Fluid Dynamics
- Weapon Mod: Backup Mag
- Adept Flex: Adept Mag
PvE Breakdown
The Uzume RR4 is a great Adaptive frame sniper rifle for PvE. While it may lose out to some of its rapid-fire frame cousins in the total damage department, the Uzume is still a great weapon to grab if you need a good solar sniper rifle. For its barrel perk, grab Arrowhead Brake to straighten out its recoil direction and give it some good handling. If you have the Adept version of the weapon, Tactical Mag will give you enough of a boost with an Adept Mag mod to give you 7 rounds in the magazine. However, you will need to use Extended Mag on the base version of the weapon.
The Uzume RR4 has a lot of great perks for PvE in Column 3, but the best one by far is Fourth Times the Charm. The perk basically gives you 4 extra shots in the magazine if you don’t miss any precision shots. Looking at Column 4 we have two options, Vorpal Weapon and Precision Instrument. We did the math for you on the difference of the two’s damage and Vorpal Weapon only does 2 percent more total damage at base and 5 percent more if it is enhanced. And it only starts doing more damage on the 7th and 9th shots respectively, so it is a very minimal difference. Vorpal Weapon is a much more consistent and easy-to-use option, so it is an easy recommendation.
PvP Uzume RR4 God Roll
The best perks for the Uzume RR4 PvP God Roll are Fluted Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Snapshot Sights, and Vorpal Weapon. These provide important stats, utility, and damage for the weapon.
The following list is the best perks for the Uzume RR4 PvP God Roll in Destiny 2:
- Barrel: Fluted Barrel
- Magazine: Accurized Rounds
- Column 3 Trait: Snapshot Sights
- Column 4 Trait: Vorpal Weapon
- Masterwork: Handling
- Origin Trait: Omolon Fluid Dynamics
- Weapon Mod: Targeting Adjuster
- Adept Flex: Adept Targeting
PvP Breakdown
Sniper rifles like the Uzume RR4 are favored in PvP for their ability to one-shot players at a long range. This does require a precision hit. The Uzume RR4 has a decent aim assist stat, which makes this a bit easier to accomplish. Fluted Barrel is a great barrel perk for its handling boost, which will help with drawing the weapon and aiming down sights. There isn’t much magazine perks can do for sniper rifles in PvP, but Accurized Rounds will help the accuracy of the weapon by a small amount.
The Uzume is a decent PvP sniper rifle mostly for its statistics rather than its perks. Snapshot Sights is always a great trait to have on Sniper Rifles. It will make your aim down sights time much faster. This can help get your scope on target faster than they can hit you, but just remember to have your weapon aimed in around where you want to zoom in before you aim down sights. None of the Column 4 traits are particularly useful in PvP. Vorpal Weapon will at least have some amount of usefulness if an enemy guardian cast their super. Overall, the Uzume RR4 is a decent pick up if you need a good sniper rifle for a PvP in the energy slot.
