Skin Key is a type of special currency in FragPunk. Learn more about this item with the help of this article.
There are multiple skins for each weapon and lancer in FragPunk. Moreover, there are multiple ways of acquiring these skins. Some are obtained from completing event missions, some are bought with real money, and some can be acquired by redeeming special coins. There are some skins in the game that can be customized further using special currency known as Skin Key.
In this article, we will discuss Skin Keys and how to get them in FragPunk.
What Are Skin Keys in FragPunk?
Skin Keys are basically a type of currency that is used to upgrade skins of specific weapons and lancers. Note that you cannot purchase a skin with this currency. You can only use these keys on an already acquired skin. To use this item, just follow these steps:
- Go to the ‘Arsenal’ menu from the top of the screen.
- Go to the Weapons section.
- Select a weapon that has a skin equipped at that moment.
- Click on ‘Weapon Appearance’ and look for ‘Advanced Cosmetics.’
- Select your desired re-color option and spend the Weapon Skin Keys.
Follow the same procedure in order to customize a lancer’s skin. Just go to the lancers tab and select your favorite skin.

Note: You cannot customize common rarity skins using the Skin Keys.
How To Get Skin Keys in FragPunk?
Just like many other special currencies, Skin Keys are also acquired by completing various missions. Complete event missions and battle pass missions in order to obtain this currency. Moreover, you can also purchase Skin Keys from the in-game store. You can get 100 Skin Keys for 266 FragPunk Coins.

FragPunk Coin is a premium currency that can be acquired with the help of real money. Moreover, you can also complete various missions to acquire these coins. We recommend not using FragPunk Coins to customize an already purchased skin. You should only use this premium currency to buy other premium items, such as new skins for lancers and weapons, curiosity pop cans, and other things.
