The 38-year-old gained notoriety and success on TikTok and YouTube in 2022 as a result of his outspoken misogynistic views on women and masculinity. Andrew Tate is recognized as one of the internet’s most polarizing people, and his fame has inspired numerous memes.
Andrew Tate was banned from all social media platforms after several petitions from multiple feminist organizations. He was also suspended from Twitter several times. This increased his popularity, as he was constantly mentioned by numerous individuals, particularly podcast hosts. At the time he was banned, his YouTube channel had over 700k subscribers and his Instagram account had over 6 million followers.
